Terms

Last updated on

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Operon, including the Operon web app, public catalog, APIs, CLI, and related services. By creating an account or using Operon, you agree to these terms.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. If you create or join a workspace, you are responsible for the data, workflows, tokens, and settings managed in that workspace.

You must provide accurate account information, use Operon only for lawful purposes, and follow any usage limits, plan limits, or technical restrictions shown in the product or on our pricing page.

Acceptable Use

Do not use Operon to break the law, violate someone else’s rights, attack or disrupt services, distribute malware, scrape or harvest data without permission, or attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, billing, or security controls.

Do not publish content that you do not have the right to share. If you publish an Operon publicly, you are responsible for making sure it does not include secrets, private source code, confidential business data, or personal information that should not be public.

Customer Content

You retain ownership of the prompts, instructions, metadata, workflows, and other content you submit to Operon. You grant Operon the limited rights needed to host, process, display, version, analyze, and transmit that content so we can provide and improve the service.

You are responsible for the legality, accuracy, and safety of your content and for any content your workspace members submit.

Billing

Some Operon plans are free and some are paid. Paid plans are billed through Stripe and are subject to the prices and limits shown at checkout, in the product, or on our pricing page.

Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change plans or prices in the future, but changes will not apply retroactively to a billing period you already paid for.

APIs and Tokens

If you create API tokens or use the Operon CLI, you are responsible for storing credentials securely and revoking tokens that are no longer needed. You may not use APIs in a way that degrades Operon, bypasses limits, or interferes with other customers.

Third-Party Services

Operon depends on third-party providers for services such as hosting, storage, authentication, analytics, payments, and email. Your use of those integrated services may be subject to their own terms and policies.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and handle information. By using Operon, you agree that we may process information as described there.

Service Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of Operon as the product evolves. We try to avoid disruptions, but Operon is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind.

Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create security or operational risk, fail to pay required fees, or use Operon in a way that could harm Operon, our customers, or third parties.

You may stop using Operon at any time. Account deletion and export tools are available in the product where supported.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Operon and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date on this page and take reasonable steps to notify users when appropriate.
